I got this recipe from an acquaintance during a woman's outdoor weekend. It is different from the other no peek stews in that it uses ginger ale for the liquid. Great served over egg noodles. Ingredients:
2 lbs stewing beef |
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
10 1/2 ounces ginger ale (use soup can) |
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients together in an oven safe covered casserole. 2. Bake at 350 for 4 hours. DO NOT PEEK. 3. Serve over egg noodles. |
