This chili doesn't have the heat of other chilis. It's good for people with sensitive systems. Ingredients:
1 small onion, chopped |
1 lb. hamburger |
2 (15.5 oz) cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed |
1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes |
1 (12 oz) can tomato paste |
3 cups water |
1 pkg williams chili seasoning, (seasons 2 lb. meat) |
2 tbsp. sugar |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Spray a medium-sized pot with Pam. Put in chopped onion, and saute over medium flame until yellow. (About 5 min) 2. Add hamburger and brown. (About 5 min) 3. Add drained and rinsed kidney beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), tomato paste, water, Williams Chili Seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper. 4. Bring to boil, then reduce the heat to simmer. 5. Simmer 10 minutes, or as long as you wish. Flavors improve with long cooking. |
