After I started getting headaches eating a main stream commercial dill dip, I read the label - ah MSG - I devised this dip and it has become my favorite. I sell the dry mix at the store where I work and it's a hit. Read more . The dry mix without the yogurt and mayo makes a fantastic fish seasoning for baked salmon or white fish. Ingredients:
1/2 cup yogurt (whole milk brown cow plain is my favorite) |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 t dried dill |
1/2 t dried parsley |
1 t dry minced onion |
1/2 t garlic granules |
1/4 t medium grind pepper |
1/4 t real sea salt (not the white stuff, redmond real sea salt ) |
Directions:
1. Mix all the above. 2. Let sit in fridge for at least 1 hour - this will plump up the minced onion pieces. 3. Stir and enjoy. 4. For fish seasoning - don't add yogurt or mayo, simply sprinkle on fish fillets, dot with butter and bake. |
