This recipe is from my wonderful Grandma. I have never made any other meatloaf because we love this recipe so much. It is easy and will have everyone asking for seconds, even my picky eaters love it. Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
3/4 cup breadcrumbs |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup water |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
Directions:
1. Combine meat, onion, bread crumbs, egg, 1/2 the tomato sauce. 2. Place in loaf pan. 3. Combine remaining tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard. Pour over meat and bake at 350°F for 1-1 1/2 hours. |
