Your doggie will love them. Ingredients:
2 cups unbleached flour |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
1/2 cup brewer's yeast |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 cup chicken stock |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400F. 2. Oil two or three baking sheets. 3. Combine first four ingredients. 4. In a large mixing bowl, combine garlic and oil. 5. Slowly stir flour mixture and stock alternately into oil and garlic, beating well, until the dough is well-mixed. 6. Shape dough into a ball. 7. On lightly floured surface, roll out and cut with cookie cutters. 8. Transfer biscuits to prepared baking sheets. 9. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until well-browned. 10. Turn off heat and allow biscuits to dry in oven for several hours. 11. Store in refrigerator or freeze. |
