I didn't think this was going to work, but this is really amazing. Found it (then tweeked) while net-surfing for a friend who's allergic. Ingredients:
1/2 cup dry milk, powder |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon honey |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
3/4-1 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Blend milk powder, water, honey, and spices until smooth in a blender or food processor. 2. Mix in vinegar. 3. While blending, slowly pour in oil until mixture thickens. This is somewhere between 3/4 and a full cup of oil. 4. Use as you would mayonnaise: in salads, sandwiches, cakes - . |
