Very simple. No cooking. No boiling water. I am a preschool teacher, and use it all the time for my kids. It is just the right consistency, and doesn't leave all the messy bits on the table like store-bought. You just have to play with the amount of flour till it gets where you like it. Ingredients:
2 -4 cups flour |
1/2 cup salt |
1 cup water |
1/4 cup oil |
food coloring |
Directions:
1. Mix 2 cups flour and salt together in a bowl. 2. Mix water, oil, and food coloring. Make sure you add all the food coloring you want now. It gets more difficult (and messier) to blend the farther in you add it. 3. Pour wet ingredients into dry, and stir until combined, then knead until a smooth consistency. 4. Add flour as necessary 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup at a time to achieve desired consistency/stickyness. Know that the more you add, the lighter it will be in color! |
