No Cook Cherry Cheese Cake |

This is my favorite pie, I know it is not a traditional cheese cake, but I still love it. My Mom made this for me, while growing up, on special occasions or just because she loved me. If you don't have the time or want to make the cherry glaze, you can always buy a can of cherry glaze. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cracker pie crust |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 cup cherry juice |
1 cup cherries, red tart cherries, pitted, drained |
Directions:
1. PIE:. 2. Mix cream cheese, condensed milk, lemon juice and vanilla. 3. Pour into pie crust. 4. CHERRY GLAZE:. 5. Blend sugar and cornstarch, stir in cherry juice. 6. Cook until thickened and clear, stirring constantly. 7. Stir in a few drops of red food coloring if desired. 8. Add cherries. 9. Completely cool and top the pie. |
