A very fast slice that sets in the fridge within 10-15 minutes (cooking time is cooling time). Slice into squares, fingers or triangles. The UK has many bogs, they are filled with any manner of things - I believe this is where this slice gets its name from. My 4 children love this slice and I love how easy it is to make! Great for lunch boxes and parties. Ingredients:
1 cup milo or 1 cup ovaltine |
1 cup desiccated coconut |
1 cup wheat germ |
1 cup powdered milk |
1 cup rolled oats |
1 cup rice bubbles |
125 g melted butter |
425 g sweetened condensed milk |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together. 2. Pour into a lined 18 x 28 cm tin and press with WET fingers to all the sides and it is even. 3. Place in the fridge to set. When set, slice and keep in the fridge. |
