GORP is actually an acronym that means Good Old Raisins and Peanuts. These cookies aim to be a cheaper on-the-go meal/snack option than something prepackaged like a Cliff Bar. This recipe is also vegan, if you groove that way. Ingredients:
3 cups peanut butter |
3 cups rolled oats |
3 cups raisins |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup water |
1/3 cup flax seed meal |
Directions:
1. Mix flax, water, sugar. 2. Add to oats, raisins, peanut butter. 3. Mix with hands until thick crumbly dough. 4. Press into 1/4 cup servings. 5. Store in fridge. |
