Nina's Naughty Chocolate Buns |

These are delicious. It is my own recipe and I enjoy them cold or hot. Especially nice covered in chocolate sauce-a dinner party favourite with my guests. Make triple portions! Ingredients:
55 g plain flour |
25 g cocoa powder |
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda |
25 g butter |
50 g golden syrup |
40 g caster sugar |
1/2 egg |
1 dash milk |
2 drops vanilla essence |
Directions:
1. Heat oven gas 4 or 180°C.
2. Set out 9 paper bun cases.
3. Sieve flour, coco powder and bicarbonate in to a bowl.
4. Beat egg with milk.
5. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a pan then pour in to flour.
6. Stir in egg and milk until it is a creamy mixture.
7. Spoon in to paper cases.
8. Cook for 20 minutes on a middle shelf.
