Inexpensive and easy-in response to forum request. Ingredients:
1 cup elbow macaroni |
1 cup onion, diced |
2 tablespoons oil |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup ketchup |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 lb ground beef |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 can tomato sauce |
1 (8 ounce) can mushroom stems |
1/2 teaspoon italian spices |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water according to package directions. 2. Drain; set aside. 3. Saute meat, onion and garlic in oil until meat is browned. 4. Add remaining ingredients (except macaroni). 5. Bring mixture to boil; simmer gently for 5 min. 6. Mix in cooked macaroni. 7. Simmer for 5 min. 8. more. |
