I love this - Nothing like French Toast in the morning!! Ingredients:
2 tbps. margarine |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
4 slices thickly sliced bread |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups skim milk |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Grease an 8x8-inch pan. 2. In a small saucepan, melt margarine and brown sugar. Pour into baking pan. Place bread on the sugar and margarine mixture. 3. In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk and cinnamon together. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and place in fridge overnight. 4. Bake uncovered 30 minutes in 350F oven. Serve with syrup and fruit. |
