I was craving a chicken alfredo pizza one night and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So, I decided to wing it and come up with my own. And my fiance and I were so glad I did! It turned out better than a pizza restaurant we order the same pizza from! YUMM-O!! Ingredients:
12 ounces prepared pizza crust |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 medium onion, sliced |
4 ounces alfredo sauce |
4 ounces cream cheese, softened |
12 ounces chunk chicken, drained |
4 -6 ounces monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded |
2 -4 ounces colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded (optional) |
butter-flavored cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Mix the pizza crust according to directions and spray top with the non-stick cooking spray. 2. Heat the oil and saute the onions until tender. 3. While the onions are cooking, combine the alfredo sauce and cream cheese in a sauce pan; mix very well and heat through. 4. Spread the alfredo mix on top of the crust and top with the onions and the chicken. 5. Sprinkle the cheese over the pizza. 6. Bake at 450°F for 12-15 minutes and ENJOY! |
