From BH&G magazine November 2006. Ingredients:
4 soft french rolls or 4 sourdough rolls |
olive oil |
1/4-1/2 cup cranberry sauce or 1/4-1/2 cup chutney |
fresh baby spinach leaves or flat leaf parsley or fresh sage leaf |
8 ounces sliced cooked turkey (leftover) |
2 ounces thinly sliced country ham or 2 ounces prosciutto |
8 ounces sliced smoked mozzarella cheese or 8 ounces provolone cheese or 8 ounces cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Split rolls horizontally. Lightly brush cut sides of rolls with olive oil. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons cranberry relish on bottom halves of rolls. Layer the greens, turkey, ham, and cheese on rolls. Place tops of rolls on filling. 2. Preheat covered indoor grill. Place sandwiches in grill. Cover and cook for 6 minutes or until cheese is melted and rolls are crisp. |
