New York System's Hot Wiener Sauce (Copycat)

This is a hot dog sauce that if you've ever lived or been to RI and had a New York Systems Hot Wiener you know how good this is.

Ingredients:

1/2 lb ground beef

1/4 cup oil

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 teaspoon salt

4 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon celery salt

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 teaspoon marjoram

3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon thyme

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1 quart water

Directions:

1. Brown ground beef, drain grease.
2. Add to kettle with remaining ingredients. Simmer all for 2 hours without covering.
