New Potatoes With Olive Oil And Garlic |

This is an easy but great recipe. We love this recipe and make it often. Hope you like it as much as we do. Ingredients:
12 small new potatoes |
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil |
1 large clove garlic minced |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel off 1/2 strip of skin around center of each potato. 2. Place potatoes in a steamer set over simmering water. 3. Cover and steam until tender about 20 minutes then drain and reserve. 4. Heat oil and garlic in a nonstick skillet large enough to hold the potatoes in one layer. 5. Cook over medium heat until garlic is fragrant about 2 minutes. 6. Add potatoes and roll them in the oil mixture then season with salt and pepper. |
