(from the Zatarain's box) Ingredients:
5 3/4 ounce zatarain's crab cake mix |
14 ounce of transocean crab & shrimp classic |
1/4 cup kraft mayo with olive oil, reduced fat |
1 large egg (optional) |
1/2 cup water |
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (for frying the crab cakes) |
Directions:
1. Blend thoroughly Zatarain's Crab Cake Mix with 12 to 16 ounces of crab meat, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 egg (optional) and 1/2 cup water. 2. Allow to stand at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. 3. Make crab cake mixture into 10-12 patties. 4. Fry in 1/4 inch preheated oil (340 F) until golden brown, about two minutes on each side. 5. Makes 12 crab cakes. |
