New Mexico Style Red Chile Sauce

My mom used this recipe for over 70 years,she loved to cook for family ,and friends.
Ingredients:
1 lb red chili pepper, pods
3 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons salt
Directions:
1. Bring to boil chile pods, cook 2 miuntes, and simmer 3 minutes.
2. Drain water and put in blender and add garlic,and salt.
3. To that add 4 cups of water or to cover 2 inches above the pods.
4. Blend for a full 2 1/2 minutes.
5. Sift to remove the sauces. Will keep in refrigerater for 7 days.
6. This is the recipe to start your Red Enchiladas.
