New Hampshire folk feel almost as strongly about their maple syrup as they do about their 'first in the nation' presidential primary. The people here like this dressing, which I toss with bagged, washed salad greens just before serving. -BL Ingredients:
1/3 cup maple syrup |
2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots |
3 tablespoons whole-grain dijon mustard |
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
1 tablespoon canola oil |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring with a whisk. |
