this is a simple yet elegant salad but vegetarian based and served at Four Seasons Westlake Village Poolside in California.
Ingredients:
blue cheese
almonds
baby greens
grilled pears
instead of meat try shaved cheese
(or for those meat eaters try chicken on top)
wine
bread
Directions:
1. put on a beautfiul plate some baby greens
2. add blue cheese crumbles on top
3. slivered almonds
4. And grilled pears...be sure to grill the pears or lightly saute them in a fry pan once over.
5. top with your favorite dressing
6. serve with wine preferably one that has a 90 or over rating and some great bread and you have it!
