This is a simple yet extremely tasty salad dressing that I use on spinach and I could eat the whole damn bowl. I made this for Thanksgiving and some of the guests didn't like spinach salad, they ended up eating more of it than anyone else. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of your favorite jam or jelly i really like to use my mother in laws home made grape jam. |
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, or if making raspberry dressing use raspberry vinegar |
1 tablespoon of mustard |
6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. |
1 bag of baby spinach leaves |
some bociccinni or cubes of fresh mozzerella |
Directions:
1. Put all of the ingredients into mixing bowl 2. using a wisk, mix together for about 1 minute 3. taste 4. adjust flavors buy adding to one or more of the ingredients 5. Pour over spinach and cheese. 6. enjoy you wont believe how good this is! |
