Never Fail Scalloped Potatoes |

From the WJJL cookbook 1973, a simple standby that has served me well for 30 plus years. Ingredients:
5 medium raw potatoes, sliced |
6 tablespoons butter |
salt and pepper |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
2 tablespoons diced onions |
Directions:
1. Mix the sliced potatoes and onion and place in a greased casserole. Mix sauce in a sauce pan by combining milk, butter, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth. Pour over potatoes. Bake 90 minutes at 350 degrees, uncovered. |
