This is a recipe from my 5th grade teacher. She was a wonderful cook who had to feed a table full of ranch hands everyday. It's so simple and fail proof, I'll never use another recipe. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup margarine |
3 ripe bananas, mashed |
3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar and margarine till creamy. Then add eggs and mix well. 2. Add all other ingredients. 3. Bake at 350° for 1 hour . 4. Also makes beautiful muffins (12). |
