My mom made these for Christmas every year. very good. Ingredients:
2/3 cup cooking oil |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg |
4 tablespoons molasses |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 cup sugar, for dipping |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 325. 2. Mix oil and sugar in a large bowl; add egg and beat well. 3. Stir in Molasses. 4. Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir into molasses mixture. 5. Form dough into Tablespoon-sized balls and coat with dipping sugar. 6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 11 minutes. cookies should flatten and crinkle. |
