This Carol Howard's Mother's Spritz cookie recipe. Delicious! Ingredients:
1 lb butter |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
6 egg yolks |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
5 cups flour |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Add egg yolks and beat until mixed.
4. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla.
5. Gradually add flour. Beat until well mixed.
6. Fill cookie press. Form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Sprinkle colored sugar crystals on unbaked cookies.
8. Bake 8 minutes or until set but not brown.
