This is an amazing pie. It comes from my friend Jeanna, who is an amazing cook and great friend. She served this at Girls Poker Night last Wednesday and we inhaled it. Enjoy Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1/3 cup all purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 cup heavy cream |
5 nectarines pitted and sliced into wedges |
9 unbaked pastry shell |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg in a mixing bowl stirring to combine well. 2. Stir in the cream to make a thin smooth mixture. 3. Arrange nectarine slices attractively in the pastry shell and pour in the liquid mixture. 4. Bake at 400 for 50 minutes then turn heat down to 350 and bake 15 minutes longer. 5. Cool to room temperature and chill at least 1 hour before serving. |
