Low-fat, low-calorie dessert. Taken from Cooking light 1999, 5-ingredient, 15-minute cookbook. Ingredients:
1c strawberries, sliced |
1/4c chocolate chips, reduced-fat |
4 (1oz) slices angel food cake |
1 1/3c frozen yogurt, vanilla, non-fat |
Directions:
1. Place strawberries in container of an electric blender; cover and process until smooth. 2. Place chocolate chips in a small zip-top plastic bag, and crush with a meat mallet or rolling pin 3. Drizzle strawberry puree evenly on 4 plates, and place cake slices on top of puree. Top each with 1/3 cup frozen yougurt, and sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon crushed chocolate chips. 4. Per serving: 193 calories; 10% from fat. |
