This is a cake I created based on another cake recipe I was handed somehow. It became my cake and I bake it regularly as it never failed (yet!) Ingredients:
6 eggs |
2 cups sugar |
1 plain yogurt (save the pot) |
1 pot measure of cooking oil |
2 tbsp raisins (optional) |
2 peeled, cored and chopped apples |
2 cups self raising flour |
1 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Whisk the eggs and sugar together, with an electric whisk, untill fluffy. 2. Add the oil and the yogurt. 3. Add the flour and cinnamon. 4. Add the apples and raisins. 5. Mix to distribute evenly. 6. Pour into a prepared cake tin (10 inch). 7. Bake at 170ÂșC for about 1 hour. |
