This is my favorite soup. I like to make alot so I can put some in the freezer and have it when ever I want. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package dried navy beans |
6 cups water |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 onion |
1 clove garlic |
3 celery ribs |
3 ham hocks or 3 chopped ham |
1 chicken bouillon cube |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon dried parsley |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 bay leaf |
Directions:
1. Soak beans over night. 2. Place all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours. 3. Discard bay leaf. |
