Just simply comfort food!! Ingredients:
1 lb navy beans |
2 quarts water |
chopped onion |
chopped carrot |
1/4 cup butter |
ham bone |
ham |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Soak navy beans according to pkg directions. 2. Saute onion and carrots in butter. 3. Combine all ingredients in large soup kettle; bring to a boil and let simmer until beans are soft- about 1 to 2 hours. |
