This is something you'll love to have in the summers! Ingredients:
2 cups plain yogurt |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 1/2 cups diced mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, greenpeas, potatoes and cauliflower) |
1 small tomato, washed,peeled and finely chopped |
2 small onions, peeled,washed and finely chopped |
1 teaspoon oil |
1 inch fresh ginger |
6 raisins |
6 cashews |
salt |
2 teaspoons fresh cream |
oil, to fry |
3 large green chilies |
2 teaspoons fresh cream |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves |
1/4 cup pineapple, pcs. |
1/4 cup apple, pcs. |
1 pinch red chili powder |
1 pinch cumin powder |
1 pinch garam masala powder |
Directions:
1. Boil 2 cups of water in a pot. 2. Cook the diced vegetables with a little bit of salt in them. 3. Remove when the vegetables are fully done. 4. Keep this aside. 5. Saute the onions and tomato in a tsp. 6. of oil. 7. Mix the plain yogurt with the buttermilk. 8. Keep aside. 9. Ground together the ginger, green chillies, corriander leaves, raisins, cashewnuts, boiled vegetables, pineapple and apple. 10. Keep aside. 11. Now, mix the buttermilk-yogurt mixture with the tomatoes, onion, ground paste, fresh cream and salt. 12. Garnish with chilli, garam masala and cumin powders. 13. Serve chilled. 14. Enjoy! |
