This is a recipe I got from a co-worker. There are alot of mac and cheese recipes out there. This one is wonderful and super easy to make Ingredients:
1 lb small eblow macaroni noodles |
1 (28 ounce) jar cheese whiz |
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup milk |
4 tablespoons butter |
8 tablespoons butter, 1 stick |
3 -4 slices sourdough bread, cubed |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain, do not rinse. Pour noodles back into hit pan and add cheese whiz, shredded cheeses, milk and 4 T butter. Stir well and transfer to oven safe bowl. 2. Melt 1 stick of butter in a sauce pan, add cubed bread and garlic powder. Mix and pour over macaroni and cheese. 3. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. |
