I had a great create your own smoothie at the Minneapolis raw food restaurant, Ecopolitan. I tried to recreate it but came up with something delicious and unique!
Ingredients:
2 cups crushed ice
5 1/2 ounces coconut milk
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons ground flax seed
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Place the place the crushed ice, coconut milk, and milk into a blender. Add the sugar, honey, flax seed, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and vanilla extract. Cover, and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses to serve.
