This is amazing - a real nice yummy dessert made out of pears, unimaginable how creative cookery can get, how yummy dishes can be:) Enjoy! Ingredients:
250 g pears |
500 g ghee |
20 g raisins |
50 g khoya |
50 ml milk |
100 g sugar |
1 tablespoon cardamom powder |
3 tablespoons slivered almonds |
2 tablespoons slivered pistachios |
Directions:
1. Peel and grate pears. 2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed saucepan. 3. Add raisins. 4. Fry lightly for 2 minutes. 5. Remove from ghee. 6. Keep aside. 7. Add khoya and saute lightly. 8. Remove and keep aside. 9. Add grated pears. 10. Saute on medium heat for 5 minutes. 11. Add milk, khoya and sugar to pears. 12. Stir well. 13. Cook till the mixture becomes dry. 14. Sprinkle cardamom powder. 15. Stir well. 16. Serve hot. 17. Garnish with almond slices, pistachio slices and fried raisins. |
