This is very similar to Applebee's famous Oriental Chicken Salad. Simple and easy for home. Ingredients:
4 cups romaine lettuce |
1/2 head napa cabbage, shredded thin |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1/4 cup margarine |
12 ounces rice noodles, crip |
1 cup almonds |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup balsamic wine vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Toss together lettuce, cabbage and sunflower seeds. 2. In skillet, brown and strain: margarine, rice noodles, almonds. Stir constantly until crisp. This only takes a few minutes. 3. Place noodle mixture on the bottom of salad bowl. Add greens. Top with dressing. Top with strips of grilled or fried chicken breast. |
