Chow mein noodles and snow peas give a pleasant crunch to this colorful and fresh-tasting salad. It's sure to be popular at parties and potlucks. Ingredients:
4 cups chopped napa or chinese cabbage |
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained |
1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained |
1 cup fresh snow peas, trimmed and cut into thirds |
1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper |
1 green onion, chopped |
1/4 cup reduced-fat sesame ginger salad dressing |
1/2 cup chow mein noodles |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat. Just before serving, sprinkle with chow mein noodles. Yield: 8 servings. |
