This was served at one of our faculty holiday luncheons. It was devoured by all and the most requested recipe. Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) bags coleslaw |
2 -3 sliced green onions |
2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, save the seasoning packets for the dressing |
6 ounces sunflower seeds |
6 ounces almonds |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup oil |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons soy sauce |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
Directions:
1. Saute noodles, almonds, and sunflower seeds in butter, set aside. Slice onions and add to coleslaw set aside. 2. Make dressing:. 3. Combine all dressing ingredients and the ramen noodles seasoning packets. Stir until sugar dissolves. Salad and dressing can be prepared ahead of time. 4. Toss all ingredients together and enjoy. |
