This recipe is not really official, it gets improvised every time someone makes it, but here is a general guideline Ingredients:
32 oz. can tomato sauce |
1 can (8 oz.) tomato paste (with three cans of water) |
16 oz. can of stewed tomatoes |
32 oz. can of kidney beans |
1 - 2 lb. of ground beef |
1 large onion coarsely chopped |
1 green pepper coarsely chopped |
a lot of garlic |
chili powder |
cumin |
red pepper |
Directions:
1. Add everything together, adjust spices to your preference, let simmer for 2 or more hours 2. Top with cheddar cheese, black olives, sour cream and corn bread muffins on the side - yum! |
