Nannie's Thanksgiving Stuffing |

The measurements are not exactly. Feel free to add more or less to taste. Ingredients:
10 ounces cornbread mix (we use martha white cornbread) |
2 slices white bread |
1 medium onion, diced |
6 eggs, boiled and diced |
1 tablespoon sage |
3/4 cup celery, diced |
1 cup cooked chicken meat |
4 cups chicken broth |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Prepare cornbread according to package instructions and let cool. 2. Remove crust from bread, then tear or cube. 3. Shred chicken meat. 4. In large bowl, mix cornbread, bread, chicken, onions eggs, sage celery, salt and pepper. 5. Add broth to the consistency of stew. 6. `. 7. Place in greased 13*9 pan and cook about 30 minutes in at 350 degree oven. |
