In Azerbaijan, sherbet is a favorite drink. This is normally served as the finale of the multiple-course ceremonial banquet but now is just served as a general refreshment. There is a steeping period of 4 hours. Ingredients:
4 ounces fresh mint, finely chopped |
7 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Pour 3 1/2 tbsp freshly boiled water over the mint and leave to steep for 4 hours. 2. Strain, mix with the sugar and serve chilled. |
