Tangy and crunchy! These are my cousin Nancy's recipe. In my family we believe in storage to see you throug hthe lean times. This is one of those canning recipes. Also these is an easy recipe. Ingredients:
3 quarts water |
1 quart white vinegar |
1 cup salt |
2 teaspoons dill seeds |
1/8 teaspoon alum |
20 -30 pickling cucumbers |
Directions:
1. Boil water vinegar and salt in large pot. 2. Put cucumbers in canning bottles. 3. Add dill seed and alum. 4. pour juice over cucumbers. 5. put lids on and seal. 6. * amount depends on how many jars you plan on using. |
