My Mom's chilli and by far the best Chili I've had. Ingredients:
1 package chili powder |
3 cups chopped mushrooms |
1 can kidney bean |
1 can deep brown beans or 1 can pork and beans |
1 can tomato soup |
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
1 cup chopped red pepper |
2 chopped onions |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup chopped canned jalapenos or 1/4 cup fresh jalapeno (optional) |
Directions:
1. Brown beef and drain the grease. 2. Add peppers and onions, chilli powder, salt and pepper. 3. Simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes to an hour. |
