Delicious, rich and creamy pie from the kitchen of my grandmother. She always made the best foods. Our family enjoy this pie every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup whipping cream |
1/2 cup milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
cinnamon |
butter |
unbaked pie shell |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, flour and salt together. 2. Add cream, milk and vanilla. 3. Pour mixture into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell; sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter. 4. Bake in 425 F oven for 10 mins; reduce heat to 350 F and bake for 1 hr 15 mins. |
