This is my Nana's recipe...it was incredible and when I make it I think of her. And I think of Eat n Park's famous strawberry pie....I think they stole her recipe!!! LOL Ingredients:
1 pie crust (9 inch), baked |
1 quart strawberries |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Wash berries and select 1/4 of the ncest ones to slice in half lengthwise. Arrange those in the baked pie shell. Sprinkle with 1/2 sugar.
2. Mash remaining berries and add cornstarch, 1 C. sugar and bring to boil until thick and clear. Cool to room temperature and then pour over the berries in the shell. Chill and serve with whipped cream.
