This dish goes great with Thanksgiving dinner or add roasted chicken for a meal in itself. A long family tradition that is always a favorite. Ingredients:
8 eggs beaten |
flour |
salt |
pepper |
1 stick melted butter |
1/4 c milk |
water |
chicken bullion or turkey drippings |
Directions:
1. Mix eggs, salt, pepper, milk and butter. 2. Add flour until you have a not sticky ball. 3. Roll out and let dry for several hours (even overnight). 4. Cut into very thin strips. 5. In a pot, bring 12 cups of water to a boil and add the bullion or drippings. 6. Add the noodles and turn down heat. Stir until the noodles are all separated. Add salt to taste. Simmer for 20 – 30 minutes. Check for desired doneness. |
