This was the first hummus I ever tasted and I've found its still the best! Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can chickpeas |
3 -5 cloves garlic |
3/4 cup water |
1 cup tahini paste |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. Blend together chick peas, garlic and water in blender. 2. Slowly add remaining ingredients and continue blending. 3. Refrigerate and serve with pita triangles and/or red onion slices. |
