Nana's Ham Loaf and Mustard Sauce |

This is a long-time family recipe. It is one of those things that is always requested when everyone gets together. The Mustard Sauce is THE key!! YUM Ingredients:
3 lbs ground ham |
1 lb ground pork |
1/2 cup milk |
3 tablespoons tomato soup |
1 beaten egg |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1 cup breadcrumbs |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and place in loaf pan. 2. Slice onion on top of loaf. 3. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours. 4. Baste occasionally with a few teaspoons of hot water. 5. *****. 6. MUSTARD SAUCE. 7. 1/2 cup Tomato Soup, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup Mustard, 1/2 cup butter, 2 egg yolks - beaten. 8. Cook over medium heat until sauce bubbles and thickens. 9. Can be served hot or cold. |
