Another one of my Great Nanna's Beautys
Ingredients:
1 lb sultana
3 eggs
3/4 lb sugar
1/2 lb butter
3/4 lb flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. put sultannas in a saucepan, cover with water and boil.
2. beet eggs, add sugar.
3. cut butter and add to eggs and sugar.
4. strain sultannas, add to egg mixture and stir.
5. add flour, baking powder and salt.
6. bake for 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
7. add essence if wanted.
8. check at 1 hour.
