This is my great aunt's recipe. I form bigger meatballs when I serve them as the main dish. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
1 cup cracker crumb |
1 cup milk |
1 egg |
1/4 cup white vinegar |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Using your hands, mix the meatball ingredients until well combined. 2. Form into 12 meatballs and place in a greased casserole dish. 3. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. 4. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
